SchoolScan promotes and celebrates alternative modes of transportation to school (walking, biking, bussing, and carpooling). Each morning, parent volunteers greet students at the bike racks on the north side of campus and scan them in at school. 

The program celebrates fewer car trips with fun rewards for students and provides parents with a notification that their child has arrived safely to school. It also keeps track of annual mileage.

If you would like to enroll your child(ren) in the program, please fill out the consent form for each child (English form / Spanish form) and drop it off at the Monarca front office. You can also pick up a hard copy from the office or by the bike racks in the morning.  

For previous participants: If your child still has their barcode/number from last year, they do not need a new form this year. If your child has lost their barcode/number or you would like to update your notification options, please contact Belinda Chen.
